Dan Alexis Mayer

Dan Mayer is a novelist and screenwriter living in Berkeley. His work ranges from gritty YA to self-help, always gravitating toward the unpredictable. Before settling down and earning his BA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University, he toured with his punk band, served a thousand waffles, worked as a bouncer, and quit smoking two dozen times. He is now a dedicated family man, author, occasional indie screenwriter, and a lifelong Dungeon Master.
